You might think that a mother of all girls would be creative and talented with hair. Unfortunately, for my daughters, I am not. I try, but a curly half-up, half-down is about the extent of my abilities. Doing hair was one of my main concerns when bringing Susanna and Kerrie home from Ghana. I decided after we finished swimming lessons on Thursday that we would do Susanna's hair on Friday. Another adoptive mom in my area offered to show me what to do. It was so much easier than I thought it would be! It was really fun to do and Susanna was patient and so good the whole time. My friend couldn't believe that we got it all done in one sitting. I know that Susanna is thrilled with the results. I can't wait to try more styles.
